WE WELCOME AND VALUE ALL CULTURES, LANGUAGES AND ABILITY LEVELS. 

It is important that we as physical educators understand that we teach a wide range of students in respect to their culture, language and physical/mental ability level. To be compassionate and effective teachers, we need to recognize and embrace these differences and go out of our way to let our students know that they are welcomed and valued in our gyms and classrooms. We need to demonstrate that we as teachers accept and celebrate our students’ cultural diversity, language and body types and ensure that they are consistently Included and valued in all our cooperative and collaborative movement activities.

The following Diversity and Inclusion in PE- 7 Visual Poster Series includes the following PE visuals:1. Diversity and Inclusion Anchor Poster, 2. Acceptance , 3. Diversity, 4. Respect, 5. Tolerance, 6. Kindness and 7. Compassion. 

These 7 posters “work together” to let our students know that they are welcome and we value all cultures, languages and ability levels in physical education. 

The posters each have 6 color options and come in a Zip folder with 2 Formats- PDF and JPEG. They are originally set for 8 ½ by 11 sheets but can easily be copied on a school or store Poster-Maker to convert to large sized posters. You can then place them inside your gym or playing area for your students to see and for you to reference while you teach your PE lessons.
