EVERY ALIEN TEAM FOR THEMSELVES!
This lesson plan and diagram is for a large group physical education class game called "space Junk collectors". It is a dodging, fleeing, tagging and collecting activity. Small group teams of 3 or 4 Space Junk Collectors attempt to protect their Space Junk while capturing other team's Space Junk. It is a "whirlwind" of excitement and the players must use good offensive and defensive strategy in order to be successful!
The kids really enjoy this game and they will leave the gym with smiles on their faces and will be asking you if they really have to leave. The game requires some hula hoops and some beanbags or small balls to represent Space Junk.
