DON'T DROP THE SPACE BALLS!

This lesson plan and diagram is for a large group physical education class game called "Space Connector". It is a throwing and catching game that forces students to cooperate in large groups to and use multiple strategies to accomplish a goal. Mobile Space Stations (students) attempt to make connecting passes using "space balls" to get from one Mother Ship to another. 

The kids will leave the gym with smiles on their faces and will be asking you if they really have to leave. It requires little equipment with some soft type balls like fleece or yarn balls, 6 hula hoops and some milk jugs or scoopers.
