MILKY WAYS AND BLACK HOLES...OH MY!!!
This lesson plan and diagram is for a large group physical education class game called "Galaxy Quest". It is a chasing, dodging and fleeing game using belts/flags. "Time Travelers" enter enemy galaxy's and try to get through to their Milky Way. You must watch out for the "Black Holes" and head to the time warps!
The kids will leave the gym with smiles on their faces and will be asking you if they really have to leave. It requires some cones, mats and belts. The game can be played without belts as a tagging game however.
