HOW DO YOU FEEL TODAY?

This Re-Entry to School; Emotions Behind the Mask resource is a visual that can be placed somewhere in a classroom, gym or movement area of a school or can be shared in a Distance Learning situation. The visual lists and displays a variety of emotions that a student might be feeling. It highlights15 different kids wearing masks, each showing an emotion that may be typical for them to feel either at school or at home. Each box includes the emotion name and a representative graphic. The visual works well when you need to discuss how emotion can affect their school performance and it can also be used when you have a student that is non-verbal, and you need to find out how he/she feels during a lesson.

The Emotions Behind the Mask Visual is an ENGAGING and PRACTICAL way for you to connect with your students and enhance their Social/Emotional Learning. The visual can be used as a physical sign or poster on a gym or classroom wall and students can simply point to how they are feeling that day. It can also be added to a virtual (distance learning) lesson where teachers could share it digitally and ask their students to indicate how they are feeling before, during or after a synchronous or asynchronous lesson.

The Re-Entry to School; Emotions Behind the Mask visual comes in 5 color schemes and can be downloaded from a Zip folder that includes 2 Formats- PDF and JPEG (originally set for 8 ½ by 11 sheets) but they can easily be copied on a school or store Poster-Maker to convert to a large sized poster.
