WHEN IN ROME...STEAL THEIR TREASURE!!!

This lesson plan and diagram is for a large group physical education game called "Triumph of the Gladiators". It is a chasing, fleeing, tagging and dodging game. During the game, Super Gladiators attempt to steal the Roman currency from inside the Roman Empire away from the dreaded Roman Soldiers. They must travel through the Colosseum to get there and back...good luck!!!

The kids really enjoy this game and they will leave the gym with smiles on their faces and will be asking you if they really have to leave. The game requires some bean bags, tennis balls, frisbees and cones to mark boundaries. Also some scrimmage vests help to differentiate the Roman Soldiers from the Gladiators.
